Kathy & Family, I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I met him while he was a Court Security Officer. He was a wonderful man. May our Lord be with you and provide the comfort you need. Rest assured, Mike is in Heaven and continuing his loving watch on all.

Uncle Mike was my Friend and Mentor.
The conversations with him were always fulfilling and uplifting. I looked forward to the next time we see each other face to face, and still will.

Mike frequently attended our Centurion Law Enforcement Ministry meetings and his contributions and insights were always outstanding. Diana and I considered him to be a dear friend. Mike's faith and courage was a blessing to all of us and I look forward to seeing my fellow warrior again in Heaven. Our prayers go out to Mike's wife and family.

Kathy & Family,
I just read of your loss of Michael. You & Mike babysat for my Allison & Meghan in 1988 on a parttime basis as I worked at SW Med Clinic in McCook. Mike was always good to my girls, patient & always a smile.
What a blessing for his 2 sons to be the ministers for his service, that alone demonstrates the type of person he was as a model to them.

Mike was a very special person. Always positive and upbeat, inevitably warm and engaging, Mike was not just a colleague and acquaintance; he was much more. Mike was a friend and daily reminder that good and sincere people make every day more satisfying and enjoyable, and that engaging and fun people can put a smile on your face no matter what your circumstances. Mike will be missed. While I will be unable to attend the memorial service, please know that the bankruptcy judges at the court will miss Mike; our days will not be same. Our prayers are with his family, friends and fellow CSO's.

I was the County Attorney in Nebraska for 15 years and worked closely with Mike. I am sorry to hear of his passing; I know he love the Lord and his family. This world will miss such a wonderful gentle giant. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Allerton and family,
My heart and prayers go out to all of your families upon reading of Mikes' passing. We lived across the alley from you in McCook and I delivered your Gazette newspaper for awhile also. My parents have both passed(Mom-2001 & Dad-2006)My brothers and sister have all left McCook in past years. I moved from McCook in 1985 and went to Lincoln where I was a police officer for 13 years. I recall several veterans talking about Mike when he was an officer in Lincoln. My family is in the process of selling our home in Northeast Nebraska and will be moving to Cambridge. My wife will be the new art teacher/asst.track coach and I will be working as a surgical Tech in either McCook or Cambridge Hospital. I just completed 2 yrs. of college (at my age) and am ready to get to work.
I pray that God's Love touches each and everyone of you during this time and you'll have many memories of Mike to help keep your chin up.

I am so sorry for your loss. Michael greeted me on many mornings when I came to work. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor, and was just always very kind. I hope that your memories will help you get through this difficult time.
